In this construction, the flow travels from the loading end through the filter, then to the open end that serves as the mouthpiece. The PURIZE insert is therefore an internal part of the pipe's flow path, clearly distinguishing this model from basic glass pipes without a replaceable filter.

The glass body is straight, so the individual components form a clearly defined linear arrangement. With no bends, the channel is easier to access when cleaning the loading end and filter seating area.
