This group brings together complete devices, parts that form the vapor path, tools for handling material, and surfaces and accessories that keep work organized. Individual subtypes serve different roles: a rig or bong forms the base of the setup, a banger or nail is the working component, and a dabber is used to handle a small portion precisely. Products related to pressing and preparation form a separate part of the section.

From rigs and pipes to nectar collectors

DAB rigs and oil bongs form the basis of a more elaborate setup. They channel vapor through a glass body and can work with replaceable components fitted into a ground-glass joint. Current examples include a small beaker-shaped glass oil bong and a complete nectar collector set.

A DAB pipe has a more compact design, while a nectar collector has its own working configuration and method of use. These are not merely different names for the same product. They differ in construction, number of parts, and the role they play when using concentrate. Parts sets, in turn, let you complete or assemble a specific configuration without treating the entire section as one type of device.

Bangers, nails, bowls, and domes

A DAB banger or nail is the heated component on which concentrate is placed. Oil and wax bowls may serve a similar working role, but their design, material, and mounting method can differ. A dome or chimney is an additional part found in selected configurations, so not every setup consists of the same components.

This subgroup includes ceramic nails, glass bowls for oil and wax, and a titanium-ceramic version. The 14.5 mm and 18.8 mm specifications, along with male or female versions, describe the connection to the rest of the setup. Adapters and reducers join components with a specific connection geometry; examples include a 14.5 mm / 14.5 mm glass adapter and a complete 18.8 mm oil adapter.

Tools and auxiliary surfaces

A dabber lets you pick up and transfer a small portion of material without using the heating component as a tool. Glass and metal designs serve this role, including a simple titanium tool. Tip shape and length primarily affect ease of handling within a particular vessel.

A DAB mat provides a work surface that is easy to keep tidy, while a bong stand or pad separates the glass vessel from the countertop. The section includes a compact silicone pad. Such additions do not replace working components but help keep the station organized and limit accidental contact between accessories and furniture surfaces.

Press and preparation accessories

Hand presses, molds, and press paper form a separate branch of this category. They are used to prepare material, not to build the vapor path. Filter bags help organize this work by holding the contents in a defined shape; an example set includes five 5 × 7.5 cm bags with a 90-micron rating.

The selection also includes a small BHO extraction tube and a mini press in a case. These are tools for different stages than a banger, dabber, or rig, so it is useful to distinguish preparation equipment from the devices and parts used later. Every such process requires equipment to be used according to its intended purpose and safety guidelines.

Function first, then the connection

The best starting point for organizing a setup is the component's role: base, heated part, tool, adapter, or press equipment. For parts installed in a bong or rig, the next key considerations are joint diameter and male or female configuration. Size alone does not establish compatibility if the geometry of the two ends does not form a proper connection.

The working component's material affects how it heats up and releases heat, while the tool's design affects ease of handling. Surfaces that contact material should be cleaned after use with a method suitable for the particular material. This allows each subtype to retain its own function and keeps the entire setup understandable and easier to use.

Key Information

  • DAB rigs, oil bongs, pipes, and nectar collectors represent several distinct device formats
  • Bangers, nails, bowls, domes, and chimneys serve specific functions in the setup
  • Dabbers, mats, pads, stands, and adapters complete the station and its connections
  • Hand presses, molds, paper, and filter bags belong to the material-preparation subgroup
