Scales
Electronic scales, calibration weights, and weighing accessories for different measurement ranges: from 20 g to 40 kg, with readability as fine as 0.001 g on selected models.
List of products
This group includes devices with distinctly different purposes: compact scales for very small portions, models with a larger platform and capacity, and a luggage scale. Weights in several sizes complement the range. This allows you to match a solution to the size of the object being weighed and the desired reading detail, rather than treating every scale as a device for the same task.
Different capacities and measurement precision
The most important difference between scales is the relationship between capacity and display increment. Low-capacity models can display very small changes in mass, while higher-capacity devices are intended for heavier objects. In this category, the actual range extends from 20 g on the CJ-20 to 40 kg on the XS-BAG luggage scale.
The specification 20 g x 0.001 g means a maximum capacity of 20 g and a reading in increments of 0.001 g. Other models use the same notation, so the two specifications should be considered together: a high capacity does not automatically mean an equally fine increment, and a very detailed reading usually accompanies a smaller capacity.
- CJ-20 Electronic Scale: 20 g x 0.001 g
- CT-250 Electronic Scale: 250 g x 0.001 g
- IB-101 Electronic Scale: 100 g x 0.005 g
Compact scales for small portions
Models with a capacity around 100 g include the DS-100 Electronic Scale 100 g, New Mexico Electronic Scale 100 g x 0.01 gram, and ATLANTA Electronic Scale 100 g–0.01 g. The Superior Mini Electronic Scale 500 g / 0.01 g offers similar reading detail, combining a 0.01 g increment with a higher 500 g capacity.
The JENNINGS JSR600 x 0.1 g Electronic Scale and FB-2000 Electronic Scale 2000 g x 0.1 offer intermediate capabilities. These versions have a greater capacity than the smallest precision models while showing results in finer increments than scales with a 1 g increment.
- DS-100: 100 g capacity
- New Mexico and ATLANTA: 100 g x 0.01 g
- Superior Mini: 500 g x 0.01 g
- JENNINGS JSR600: 0.1 g increment
- FB-2000: 2000 g x 0.1 g
Higher capacity and luggage weighing
Models with capacities of several kilograms are intended for heavier objects. The MW-7001-BK Electronic Scale 7000 g x 1 g handles up to 7 kg, while the CBS-8000 Electronic Scale 8000 g x 1 g handles up to 8 kg; both have a 1 g increment. This allows much larger portions to be weighed than on pocket models, with correspondingly less detailed readings.
The XS-BAG Electronic Luggage Scale 40 kg x 0.01 kg is a separate design type. Its specifications are stated in kilograms, and its 40 kg capacity suits tasks different from precisely measuring small quantities.
- MW-7001-BK: 7000 g x 1 g
- CBS-8000: 8000 g x 1 g
- XS-BAG: 40 kg x 0.01 kg
Calibration weights and weighing accessories
The selection also includes weights of 1 g, 50 g, 100 g, and 200 g. These are a product type separate from the scales themselves and can serve as reference points during calibration performed according to the device's instructions. Choose a weight that matches the capacity and procedure specified for the particular scale, since not every version requires the same load.
The group also contains weighing accessories. These complement the basic devices, but their role depends on the product's construction and use. Place a scale on a stable, level surface, keep its platform clean, and do not exceed its stated capacity to maintain consistent measurement conditions.
