The nail is the component used for concentrates, paired with a dome at the side inlet. From there, the flow enters the cylindrical water chamber directly.

An integrated horizontal diffuser with slits sits in the lower chamber. It divides the flow into several smaller streams, creating more contact with the water than a single opening. The blue component is also a distinct accent inside the glass body.

The bent neck positions the mouthpiece away from the side-mounted nail and redirects the flow above the chamber. This has a practical benefit during use: your face is not directly above the heating component, and the dome remains easily accessible.

Treat the nail and dome as one functional system. When assembling them, align the parts along their axis and fit them together without pressure; forcing a fit can strain the glass connection. When replacing a part, its shape must be compatible with the other component in the system.

The dome covers the nail area and directs the flow toward the inlet. After use, let the construction cool completely before taking it apart, moving it, or washing it.

Cleaning the percolator chamber

The horizontal percolator is integrated into the lower chamber, so remove residue by rinsing the entire interior. Emptying the water regularly helps limit buildup in the slits. Do not insert hard tools into the slits, as they could put pressure on the internal element.
