The long wick provides a convenient supply to use a little at a time. Prepare the section you need, light the end, and extinguish it completely after use. This lets you use the product gradually without unrolling all six meters at once.
How hemp wick works
The wick serves as an intermediate flame source. First light its tip, then direct the small flame where it is needed. When finished, extinguish the tip completely.
The long length lets you use successive sections as needed. The remainder of the six-meter supply can stay rolled up and away from the end currently in use.
Using the six-meter supply
Before lighting, prepare only a section you can handle comfortably and keep the rest away from the flame. Light just the tip and maintain control of the flame at all times. Use the product only in conditions suitable for an open flame.
Once a section is used up, unroll the next one. Do not leave a burning wick unattended or near flammable materials.
Extinguishing and safe storage
After each use, make sure the tip is neither burning nor glowing. Let it cool before rolling up the wick or putting it away. Store it in a dry place away from heat sources, sparks, and open flames, and out of children’s reach.
