Place the screen inside the bowl, where it acts as a physical barrier above the opening. It helps keep larger particles on the intended side while leaving a path for airflow. It is a mechanical solution with no extra parts or complicated handling.

The envelope contains five metal screens, allowing you to use another from the same set when one wears out. Each screen has a stated size of 20 mm.

The 20 mm size should suit the interior of your bowl. A properly seated screen rests securely and covers the opening without leaving large gaps around the edges. This does not mean it fits every bowl—the actual diameter and shape of the seating area matter.
