This small accessory performs a simple mechanical function: once placed inside the bowl, it provides support above the opening. Its brass construction and clearly stated size make it easier to assess whether the screen suits your bowl.

Position the screen inside the bowl, where it creates a mechanical barrier above the opening. When properly seated, it leaves room for airflow while supporting the bowl's contents.

Brass gives the screen a simple metal construction. It requires no additional parts to install: its practical role depends primarily on correct placement in a compatible bowl.

Fit and regular handling

Compare the 1,5 cm size, also stated as 0,625 inch, with the internal space of your particular bowl. The screen should rest securely without falling through the opening or being forced out of shape, so compatibility with every model cannot be assumed.

After use, remove residue from the surface to keep the openings clear. Before reinstalling it, make sure the screen is clean, dry, and cool; replace any visibly deformed or damaged screen.
