The Tasman Perpetuum uses fluid intended for liquid-fuel lighters. When operated, a spark ignites fuel vapors reaching the wick, so this model works differently from gas lighters. This design requires regular care, but the lighter can be refilled and used again instead of being replaced when its fluid runs out.

Refilling and safe storage
