Zippo Coast Guard Liquid-Fuel Lighter
The Zippo Coast Guard liquid-fuel lighter is a specific variant for adults who are seeking a lighter powered by liquid fuel and want to manage refilling themselves.
Product code: ZIP-218 KOM
- liquid-fuel system
- Zippo Coast Guard variant
- intended for adult users
- Refillable with lighter fluid
The Coast Guard variant combines a recognizable name with a classic lighter-fluid system. It is an option for people who deliberately choose a model requiring periodic refilling and proper storage.
The character of the Coast Guard variant
The Zippo Coast Guard liquid-fuel lighter is intended for people who want this specific variant instead of a neutral model without a distinctive theme. The Coast Guard name gives it its own character, while the lighter-fluid system determines its everyday care routine.
In lighters of this type, fuel is stored in an absorbent insert and delivered to the wick. This allows the lighter to be made ready for use again by refilling with suitable fuel, without treating the entire lighter as a disposable product.
Frequently Asked Questions
What fuel should I use to refill this lighter?
Use fuel intended for liquid-fuel lighters and follow the product's instructions.
Refilling and safe storage
Use fuel intended for liquid-fuel lighters and refill away from flames, sparks, and hot surfaces. After refilling, remove any traces of fuel from the housing and wait before lighting to allow vapors to dissipate.
Store the Zippo Coast Guard lighter closed in a dry place out of reach of children, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Do not keep spare fuel in an unsuitable container or near flammable materials.
